051: Goalkeeper Roundup I

Inspired by the great response to Episode 25 and Episode 50, we brought back 14 of our previous guests – goalkeepers playing at the college, professional and international levels. We asked them all one question: If you would go back to the beginning of your goalkeeping journey, what is one thing you would change?

These top keepers were candid about their careers and generous with their insight, offering advice that’s relevant to goalies at any stage in their development. The focuses ranged from technical to tactical to big-picture, and the players emphasized a love of the position, a commitment to off-the-field duties, and plenty of specific tricks and pifalls along the way.
